Infinitas Learning Expands Its EdTech Footprint with the Acquisition of LessonUp and fobizz

We are proud to announce an exciting milestone in the growth of Infinitas Learning and our ongoing commitment to supporting teachers and learners across Europe. With the acquisition of LessonUp and fobizz, we have established the Infinitas Learning EdTech Holding, bringing these innovative companies together with Futurewhiz (including Squla and StudyGo).
This strategic step not only strengthens our position in the Netherlands but also significantly expands our presence across Europe, particularly in Germany, where fobizz is already trusted by tens of thousands of schools.
At the core of this move is our mission to empower teachers and enhance learning outcomes. Together, LessonUp, fobizz, Squla, and StudyGo will:

• Help teachers save time in preparing lessons and creating engaging exercises.
• Provide interactive and adaptive tools to actively engage students.
• Enable the responsible, safe, and effective use of AI in the classroom.
• Deliver insights into student progress while reducing administrative burdens.

Innovative Platforms Supporting Teachers Across Europe
In the Netherlands, LessonUp is widely used by teachers to design and deliver interactive lessons, quizzes, and videos, as well as to share and reuse lesson materials. In Germany, fobizz offers a comprehensive range of digital tools, AI applications, lesson materials, and online training, with a strong focus on privacy, responsibility, and user-friendliness.
Both LessonUp and fobizz will continue to operate independently and remain publisher-agnostic, while benefiting from the shared expertise and scale of Infinitas Learning. This marks a significant step in our strategy to grow our EdTech footprint across Europe and further support teachers in their daily practice.

Introducing the Leadership of Infinitas Learning EdTech Holding
We are also pleased to introduce Jeroen Munk as CEO and Ellen Mertens as CFO of the newly established Infinitas Learning EdTech Holding. Jeroen, who has been instrumental in building Squla and StudyGo into leading platforms, will oversee Futurewhiz, LessonUp, and fobizz. Under his leadership, our EdTech Holding will focus on empowering teachers, improving learning outcomes for students, and ensuring the responsible use of technology and AI in education.
